Dance as it was your last!

Howdy Dowdy! All my fans would have been so proud of me this week. Know why? I finally got around to cleaning out the sump pump pit at the studio. Once I poured in some bleach and drop in a half dozen toilet tank pucks, it was just like being at Woodstock 69 breathing in that purple haze. Although I wasn’t born yet, I think I really did see Jimi Hendrix hovering! There is no cause for concern as my April 7 2011 show still twirled on with Johnny Guitars “planet funk,” The Dazz Bands “shake it up,” Starpoint with “restless,” and “you gave me love” by LTD. For the James Brown lovers my recycled track was the original “super bad” followed with a remake by The Sly Players. This weeks TOP 5 SPINDOWNS were Uniques “what i got is what you need,” The Fatback Band “gotta get my hands on some,” O’Bryan’s “right from the start,” Weeks & Company “go with the flow” and “reach up” by Tony Lee. My hold each other tight track was “i’m still in love with you” performed by Michael Jonzun. To the fan club listening in from Rome, we dedicated The Bar-Kays “holy ghost” and Sun “jammin in brazil” to the funkers in Sao Paulo. Last but not least, a very special thanks to DJ Eccentric for his re-grooved version featuring Yazoo “situation” & Leon Haywood “don’t push it, don’t force it.” Thanks again for popping by, see you all next time.
