Dance is the best remedy for love of life
Please forgive me for starting my March 31 2011 show a few minutes late! Seems all this warmer weather got me juiced up to get that old bicycle out and trek to the studio. Tires looked inflated when I left. Damn it, don’t ever use that “Rest Assured” tire repair kit sold by VTE, it’s like riding on wooden wheels for heavens sake not to mention being very hard on your privates! So thanks to guest DJ Ricardo Prado from Macau for his first time spin at C4L. He sure mixed up an excellent set of 80’s redline dance classics. Well done! In keeping with Ricardo’s sizzling sensations, I engaged the styluses to Septembers “are you free tonight,” Jeanette Lady Days “come let me love you”, Avenue B Boogie Bands “bumper to bumper” and Syreeta “move it, do it.” My recycled tracks this week was Phreeks “weekend” with the original track performed by Class Action. Wow, requests rifled in big time from The Netherlands this week for Leon Ware “what’s your name”, Finesse’s “feel it” and Janet Jackson’s “young love.” My hold each other tight song was by The Commodores singing “night shift.” To the disco lovers listening in from Finland and Nevada, we sent out Patrick Crowley’s “menergy” and Noodweer “in de disco.” Finally this weeks top 5 SPINDOWNS were Second Images “cant keep holding up,” Midnight Stars “midas touch,” Common Sense “i really love you,” Klique “i can’t shake this feeling” and T-Connection’s “do what you wanna do” Thanks for tuning in, we all sure had a blast.
