Dance is about never ending aspiration

Many thanks to the fans from Vermont for writing me with their bug control solution for my up and coming fishing trip in May. “Just dab lavender oil on your pulse points; it smells great on you but repels insects!” I wonder what the honeybees and wasps would think of this! BULLSEYE! Speaking of stingers, DJ Chris started our April 21 2011 show spinning a one hour mix session of dynamite dance classics. What an excellent performance. Switching controls, I got underway with The S.O.S Bands “take your time,” Roy Ayers “fast money,” Melba Moore’s “when we touch,” and Rick James “you turn me on.” My recycled dance tracks this week were Plastic Funk featuring Dave Kurtis singing “together,” mixing in the original track “let’s go together” by Change. In the request pipeline we spun Kubota Toshinobu “just the two of us,” Two Tons O’ Fun “i got the feeling,” Will To Power “say its gonna rain,” Company B “full circle,” and LTD’s “back in love again.” For our Funky Gals tuning in from Sweden, my hold each other tight track was “special lady” by Ray, Goodman & Brown. Lastly we dedicated “roses are red” by The Mac Band to the Vermont Funkers for suggesting I hang the likes of a dartboard around my necks jugular veins! Thank you for coming by the show.
